Thanks for participating in the confessionstation project!
- After you have registered you will receive an email from the server acknowledging your registration.
- Click on the email link and you will be directed back to this site, where you can add your confession story and image.
- Add your written confession by clicking on (link at left) "Add Your Confession" and typing into the editor window.
- Please submit a digital photograph of your confession object with your confession by clicking on the "image" icon at the bottom of the text window. The photograph should be a .jpg or a .png and must be under 1MB in file size. Browse for the file, click "start upload."
- To insert the photo into your text, click the thumbnail of your submitted photo at the top of the window, and click the "insert" button.
- Check your story and when you're done, click "submit."
Once your story and object(s) are accepted as part of the project, you will receive an email with instructions about where to mail your object(s). Confession Project objects will be reverently vacuum sealed in a transparent pocket and prepared for exhibition in either Berlin or Chicago. In each exhibition your object will be accompanied by your Confession. Your real name and country will also accompany the object and Confession, unless you wish us to use a pseudonym. Please include your country at the end of your submission.
The first gallery exhibition will be at Gallery 350, 350 N. Orleans in Chicago's Sun Times Building.
Dates: December 9, 2008 - January 23, 2009
Opening reception and performance: December 11, 2008, 5:30-7:30 pm
In the final phase of the project, all objects and Confessions will be exhibited on eBay where the hope is they will be adopted by collectors worldwide.
